What does this qualification cover?

As GCSE English Literature is a core subject, it is important it is both challenging and engaging. Throughout, you will learn to analyse language, form and structure across the genres of prose, poetry and drama.

You will sharpen your inference skills, developing the ability to infer and decode hidden meanings in the written word and on screen. Your will understand why writers have chosen to portray the characters they have created in certain ways, by exploring the contextual problems they faced with their contemporary society.
